Moonrise at Brighton

The timing couldn't have been more perfect. The moon was rising as the sun was setting and I was able to capture the amazing colours of that special hour. Colours as captured - no enhancement or trickery.

Brighton Beach is just north of Brisbane, and Brighton, nearby Sandgate, Margate and Shorncliffe were one of my favourite areas for my photo treks. Moreton Island is visible on the horizon.
